POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for organization, technical build, support, maintenance, and facilitation of clinical content development within the Bon Secours Electronic Medical Record – Epic, branded as ConnectCare. Works in conjunction with established Clinical Transformation groups to ensure clinical content is in alignment with strategic quality initiatives.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university or college in the Health Sciences field (or equivalent experience within the healthcare industry).
2. Epic certification in a clinical application (Orders, Willow, ASAP, Optime, ClinDoc).
3. Clinical or operational experience (inpatient preferred)
4. Experience with implementing and optimizing clinical information systems and/or large scale complex
standardization and implementation of an EMR is highly desirable.
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems.
6. Proficient in researching evidence to support or contraindicate clinical practices.
7. Well versed with medical libraries for research purposes.
8. Knowledgeable of Joint Commission and CMS regulations.
9. Familiarity in workflow process analysis and design.
10. Strong customer service orientation.
11. Demonstrated ability to interact with interdisciplinary teams and physicians in an effective manner.
